- Cut, trim and shape hair
- Color, lighten and perform other chemical processes on hair
- Style hair or wigs by brushing, combing and spraying
- Provide scalp treatments
- Advise patrons on hair styles
- Recommend and apply cosmetics, lotions and creams to patrons
- Shape and color eyebrows or eyelashes
- Removing facial hair using wax, thread or tweezers
- Apply makeup
- Perform facials
- Clean, shape, and polish nails
- Update and maintain customers’ information records
